who we are

Hi, my name is Rachelle, and welcome to Elemental Apothecary, 

I started making herbal health products over 13 years ago, inspired by the natural abundance of healing plants, fungi, and lichens that grow voluntarily and intentionally on my northern Vermont land. After years of using these products and sharing them with family and close friends (who all vouch for the efficacy of the products), I decided to offer them to all. Encouraged by my two grown boys, who enthusiastically support the products, this project, and their mom, 

I stepped out of my comfort zone and began this journey.

What sets Elemental Apothecary apart from other similar enterprises?

I would say the most important thing is that I grow all the herbs, plants, roots, and flowers used in the products.  I ethically and sustainably forage what I cannot grow in my garden from my surrounding forest. There is no middle supplier. Everything is nurtured with love, respect, and gratitude, which, if you're familiar with the power of intention, infuses each product with a little bit (or a lot) of extra goodness.

Elemental Apothecary is not a big business looking to make big money. It is a one-woman show, looking to share the amazing power of nature’s healing gift.
